Hi, my name is Barry and I work on in construction.  I like to make things myself because I like to and also because it almost always saves me money.

With three kids, one teenager and twin four year olds, I have to watch how much we spend on things and I'm always looking for ways to stretch the money coming in from both my wife and my income.

With winter here, I decided that we needed to move the twins into their own room and I buikt a bunk bed for them, but we had so much stuff to move out of the room that I had to build a storage shed in the backyard.

I got a great selection of plans and found the right one for the project, bought the lumber and had the shed up within a day.

I'm really happy with the end product and not only did I get the plans for the shed, but included in the download was a collection of different woodworking project plans that I could use for all sorts of other projects.

My lovely wife is now looking for all sorts of different things she wants made, like a new kitchen island and my eldest son is really into sailing, so maybe he and I can use the boat plans to build a small boat for him.
